I'm thrilled be able to participate in a small way with the "Burns to Broadway" event Friday 4th June in Edinburgh's Signet Library. I hope the evening is a huge success and that generous amount is raised for this important charity. Funds will go towards independent research to detect the early signs of Uterine/Ovarian cancer. Manhattan Healing Arts Competition

I'm very pleased to have been listed in the prizewinners for the Healing Arts Competition, run by Manhattan Arts. I very much believe in the power of art to heal and radiate light. I have a wonderful intuitive friend who often interprets the energy she feels in my paintings. There is no doubt in my mind that there is much more to art than the representation of colour and form and I feel incredibly privileged to be able to work at this level. I'd like to extend my appreciation to everyone for their fantastic support during my exhibition. I'm delighted that so many of you enjoyed the paintings and the striking interior scheme. I've had several lovely comments from people saying they felt they had stepped into "a little bit of magic" which is exactly the reaction I'd hoped for. I'm thrilled.
